Fenchurch Family – Ragged School
Posted by TyRagged School are a band from Swansea that have, very sneakily, been adopted by Fenchurch and given a load of free clothes by the look of it. I used to work with the lead singer Ru and I must admit that I am very upset that he hasn’t hooked me up with a load of gear, haha. It’s good to see a local band getting some out of town recognition! Good job boys…
Read about them on the Fenchurch website.
Then go and check out their Myspace page.
Behind the Scenes at Nucleus…
Posted by TyI thought I’d just share a few things from the part of the shop that most of you will never see. There’s nothing overly exciting out the back and up the stairs but here are a few things.
The drinks list, VERY important

Yes, it’s a mouse with a ball, there are still some out there!

We have some killer print mirrors

Dylan and Merlin, the troublesome twosome!

This is where I am typing this from, it’s where the magic happens

The newest addition to my desk :-D
If you’d like to see more behind the scenes stuff say so in the comments and I’ll make a regular thing of it…
Maverick Industries Skateparks
Posted by TySkateparks are finally starting to pop up all over Britain, some in the most unlikely of places. Some councils are awesome and have gone to great lengths to provide park facilities for skaters, bmxers et al but it seems that others just aren’t trying very hard at all, my local council, Swansea, for example. Efforts have been made for many years to sort something out but nothing has been achieved, this isn’t entirely the councils fault though! Skaters need to pull their finger out and make it known that they need a park, they need to turn up to meetings, write letters, contact the paper etc.
Anyone out there that lives in a city without a skatepark needs to watch the videos below of the amazing parks being built by Maverick Industries around the UK. Maverick are absolutely killing it with their parks, the designs are second to none and if you want something like this to skate then get in contact with Maverick on any of the links at the bottom.
