Well, it’s been a long time coming (to say the least) but the Skullcandy Aviator headphones are finally available in the UK. These are probably the most sought after headphones Skullcandy have ever produced and rightly so, they are HOT! Gone are the grungy aesthetics the brand is known for, instead these look more like something out of a Scandinavian design magazine with their sleek outline and elegant minimalism across the three available colours: white, black, and brown.

The Aviators are a high end product featuring large 40mm drivers that back up the good looks, avguide.com had this to say “A brief listen suggested to me that the Aviator is, as advertised, an audiophile-grade headphone that should offer healthy competition for Monster Cable’s almost identically priced Beats by Dre Solo headphones.”

All three colours are up for pre-order and shipping in March.

Check out this short video of local Swansea skater Ryan Olsen rippin’, filmed by Joe Maggs. I haven’t seen him skate for a good few months and he’s progressed loads over that time, this video really blew me away. All the young dudes seem to progress way faster than us old guys did back in the 90′s, luckily they are still plagued with bad knees and ankles so we aren’t bitter, haha.

Ragged School are a band from Swansea that have, very sneakily, been adopted by Fenchurch and given a load of free clothes by the look of it. I used to work with the lead singer Ru and I must admit that I am very upset that he hasn’t hooked me up with a load of gear, haha. It’s good to see a local band getting some out of town recognition! Good job boys…
