The second instalment (is that what you would call it?) of Ladies Monthly took place last week, check out the video of all the action. There’s some killer stuff in there!

The next event is at St Albans, Pioneer Skatepark on 1st May at 4-6pm. “Skate & Bake”- Everyone is expected to bring a batch of home-made buns to be entered into the Ladies Monthly Annual Cake Contest!! (We’re not even joking) Prizes for the best! RSVP on Facebook

Howies and Shiner Distribution have got together to put on a month long exhibition of classic skateboard decks in Bristol. This is one show that I won’t be missing (did someone say Banksy?) and neither should you! There will be boards from Dogtown, Sims, Santa Cruz, Powell Peralta, Vision, Schmitt Stix, G & S, Zorlac, Alva, Santa Monica Airlines and a whole load of others. There will also be 20 hand painted blanks auctioned off with all proceeds going to Unicef, featuring artwork by Jim Phillips, Geoff McFetridge, Pete Fowler, French, Kev Grey, Chris Bourke, Danny Wainwright and Jethro Haynes. I’ll see you there, yeah?

Ladies Monthly is a new monthly event that has been set up with the intention of getting female skaters in the UK to “meet up, skate new places together, have a laugh and push the standard”. Below is the video from the first session which took place in Manchester recently.

The next event is in London on Saturday 27th March and will surely be an absolute banger! I wish I was a skater girl, haha.
