Skateparks are finally starting to pop up all over Britain, some in the most unlikely of places. Some councils are awesome and have gone to great lengths to provide park facilities for skaters, bmxers et al but it seems that others just aren’t trying very hard at all, my local council, Swansea, for example. Efforts have been made for many years to sort something out but nothing has been achieved, this isn’t entirely the councils fault though! Skaters need to pull their finger out and make it known that they need a park, they need to turn up to meetings, write letters, contact the paper etc.

Anyone out there that lives in a city without a skatepark needs to watch the videos below of the amazing parks being built by Maverick Industries around the UK.
