Deckades Classic Skateboard Deck Exhibition
Posted by TyHowies and Shiner Distribution have got together to put on a month long exhibition of classic skateboard decks in Bristol. This is one show that I won’t be missing (did someone say Banksy?) and neither should you! There will be boards from Dogtown, Sims, Santa Cruz, Powell Peralta, Vision, Schmitt Stix, G & S, Zorlac, Alva, Santa Monica Airlines and a whole load of others. There will also be 20 hand painted blanks auctioned off with all proceeds going to Unicef, featuring artwork by Jim Phillips, Geoff McFetridge, Pete Fowler, French, Kev Grey, Chris Bourke, Danny Wainwright and Jethro Haynes. I’ll see you there, yeah?
Skullcandy Hesh Headphones NBA Signature Series
Posted by TyAfter a long and painful wait the Skullcandy collaboration with the NBA has hit UK soil. Back when I was 12-14 (’93-’95) I was well into basketball, this was a time when you couldn’t even get an orange basketball in town, you had to order them from one of the magazines and had to stay up until 4am to catch a match on the TV. I also got into skating at the same time and split my time equally between both of my very cool pastimes, in the end I decided to go the skate route (a pretty good decision cause I stopped growing when I hit 5’9), check out the video below (I did NOT choose the song!) where you can see me skating in my Nike b-ball vest, during the crossover ‘which path should I follow’ phase.
Aaaaaaanyway, we have the new Skullcandy headphones NBA Hesh models in stock now, they are all hot stuff, I would have killed back in the early 90′s to get a set of these puppies! Head over to our Skullcandy headphones page to get your hands on a set, they are all £39.99 and we even have a price match guarantee so if you do find them cheaper anywhere else give me a ring on 01792 484907 and I’ll match it and chuck in some stickers for you too.
